It was lovely staying in Sansonetti Palace. All the spaces were large, tastefully furnished and very clean. The hosts, Elena and Gabriele, were super kind and we had a pleasant chat with them. We’ll be back for sure!

A historic residence from ‘700 in the heart of Salento. Fully renovated in a modern key, the building has preserved all the authenticity and the elegance of the past.
Therefore, the old stable became a pleasant massage room, and the mangers became showrooms for art exhibitions.
On the first floor you can find the residential accommodation, which welcomes guests in magnificent rooms along with boiserie, high vaulted ceilings and authentic floorings.
A comfortable living room with a vintage fireplace and a fresh outdoor terrace from where you can admire the old town of Casarano, all at guests’ disposal.
An authentic place where you can still breathe the old-time Salento, embraced by the smooth arms of the “Pietra Leccese” (a characteristic local stone of Lecce).

We spent a week in Sansonetti Palace…a real surprise! We realised from the pictures that it had to be a nice place, but reality overcame expectations! The massage room downstairs was amazing, and it was realised where once there was a stable. A small, dreamy corner!

Stunning Palace and warm welcome. Elena and Gabriele made us feel immediately at our ease. Every morning the breakfast had pleasant surprises for us: homemade jams and pies. We really felt cuddled!

Every morning, the kitchen opens its doors to the B&B’s guests offering them a rich buffet: soft homemade pies filled with homemade jam, local honey and pastry. Tea and coffee are served in porcelain cups to fully enjoy the taste of an authentic Salento’s breakfast.
